Thani Humanitarian launches the "Tibyan" project

The Thani Bin Abdullah Humanitarian Foundation signed a cooperation agreement with Al-Riyada Company to print, translate, and distribute the Holy Quran in several languages. This initiative falls under the "Tibyan" project, which aims to serve the Book of God and facilitate its accessibility to Muslims and non-Arabic speakers, adhering to the highest standards of accuracy and quality.

The "Tibyan" project is one of the Thani Bin Abdullah Humanitarian Foundation's Quranic initiatives. It aims to print and translate the Holy Quran into multiple languages and distribute it to Muslim communities, religious institutions, and educational establishments. This addresses the growing need for translated copies of the Quran, contributes to disseminating the meanings of the Holy Book, and enhances religious awareness, while maintaining the integrity of the Quranic text, the accuracy of the translation, the quality of printing, and efficient distribution. Sheikh Abdullah Mohammed Al-Naama, Director of the “Tibyan” Project, stated that the project embodies the vision of the Thani Bin Abdullah Humanitarian Foundation to make the Holy Quran accessible to hearts and minds through languages that people understand. He emphasized that the project stems from a firm belief in the universality of Islam's message and the necessity of addressing non-Arabic speakers in a scholarly and rigorous manner that respects their cultural and intellectual sensitivities, without compromising the sanctity of the Quranic text or the precision of its meanings, thus preserving the Quran's majesty and status.

Al-Naama explained that the selection of the target languages for “Tibyan” was based on a realistic study of the needs of Muslim communities both within and outside the State of Qatar. He noted that the Foundation relied on reliable translations that underwent meticulous stages of review and verification, both legally and linguistically, in collaboration with specialists in Quranic sciences and translation. Furthermore, the Foundation selected highly experienced printing presses and implemented organized distribution plans to ensure that the Quran reaches its intended recipients in a manner appropriate for different age groups and cultural backgrounds. Al-Na’ma emphasized that “Tibyan” represents a sustainable path through which the foundation seeks to expand its impact and renew its contributions by forging effective partnerships with mosques, Islamic centers, and educational institutions. It also opens the door for philanthropists to sponsor the printing of copies of the Quran and contribute to disseminating its meanings, considering this one of the greatest forms of ongoing charity, whose benefits are numerous and whose impact is lasting. He explained that the foundation has provided accessible donation channels through its website to enable benefactors to participate in this blessed Quranic endeavor.

For his part, Sheikh Muhammad Tahir, Deputy Director of the “Tibyan” project, explained that this agreement represents an important step in the project's implementation. He noted that the collaboration with Al-Riyada Company enhances the project's capabilities in printing and distribution and expands its reach to beneficiaries in diverse geographical and linguistic environments.

He added that the “Tibyan” project stems from a humanitarian and intellectual vision aimed at making the Holy Quran accessible to hearts and minds in languages people understand, while preserving the sanctity of the sacred text and its meanings. It targets non-Arabic speaking Muslim communities, new Muslims, and religious and educational institutions, taking into account age and cultural diversity.

The project relies on reliable translations that have undergone rigorous stages of linguistic and legal review and verification. Highly experienced printing presses are selected, and organized distribution plans are implemented to ensure that copies of the Quran reach their intended recipients in a dignified manner.

The Reward Associated with Printing the Holy Quran

Contributing to the printing of the Holy Quran is considered one of the greatest forms of ongoing charity, as its reward continues as long as the Quran is recited and its verses are acted upon. The reward is multiplied with every reading, guidance, and teaching. The donor who contributes to printing the Quran shares in the reward for every letter recited, every heart guided, and every piece of knowledge disseminated—a great and lasting reward that never ceases. The Thani Bin Abdullah Humanitarian Foundation has provided an opportunity for philanthropists to sponsor the printing of copies of the Quran as part of the "Tibyan" project. The cost of printing an Arabic Quran is 14 riyals, and a translated Quran is 16 riyals, allowing everyone to contribute according to their means and participate in this blessed endeavor.

The "Tibyan" project is expected to contribute to strengthening religious awareness, supporting the Islamic identity of communities, and consolidating the tolerant values of Islam, within the framework of the Foundation's projects that combine religious mission with sustainable institutional work.

The Foundation has provided multiple convenient ways to donate and support the project through its website, facilitating participation in this noble Quranic endeavor.
